From Les Laures' shallow, stony soils over a deep granite base, this sees 15-30 year old vines, native fermented and with 9 months on lees. Pear, yellow apple, gooseberry fills a generous palate, humming with a steely, granitically gripped base to a saline and white pepper finish. Nice generosity and likability here, drinking smartly now.
