A new attempt by Hakkaisan, leading sake brewery in Niigata. This rice shochu is distilled from mash brewed in a three-stage brewing process using sake yeast and yellow malted rice, and matured in oak barrels.
It has a more delicate and profound aroma than ordinary rice shochu, with vanilla and coconut-like flavours from the oak barrels that tickle the nostrils. 
Fubaika:Wind-pollinated flowers. The flowers may be neat and unobtrusive in colour and shape, but they have the strength to transmit life without the help of birds or butterflies.
