Chenin Blanc from Legendary Wrekin Vineyard

Winemaking: Handpicked and whole bunch pressed into an old puncheon for wild fermentation and aged on gross lees for 18 months before racking into stainless steel for hand bottling. Regular lee’s stirring kept the less in suspension for a richer mouthfeel.

Winemaker's tasting notes: I love this wine – she’s well balanced and easy drinking. Fermented to dry, it’s both crisp and refreshing as well as textural and rich. Having picked on the earlier side there is acid to keep the wine lifted but it’s extended ageing on gross lee’s rounds out the palate to give a rich finish.
