White Peach × Juicy Freshness × Crisp Acidity

Sake Meter Value (SMV): +2

Brewed by Ippongi Kubo Honten in Fukui, Denshin Haru is a limited spring-release Junmai Ginjo, bottled as a muroka nama sake without charcoal filtration or pasteurisation.

Haru is drawn from the same brew used to make the brewery’s year-round Denshin Yuki, but is released in its youthful, freshly pressed form. Made with Gohyakumangoku and Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 55%, it opens with a soft, sweet aroma reminiscent of white peach. The palate is fresh and succulent, with a smooth, juicy texture, gentle sweetness, and lively acidity that brings the sake to a clean, refreshing finish.

Expressive and full of seasonal energy, it pairs particularly well with richer, oilier dishes and foods with bold seasoning, including grilled meats, blue-backed fish, sesame-dressed vegetables, sansho and yuzu kosho. Best enjoyed well chilled. Keep refrigerated.
