Muscat × Pear × Fresh Bitterness
Sake Meter Value (SMV): Non Published
Brewed by Ooki Daikichi Honten in Fukushima Prefecture, Gakki Masamune Forte Piano is a fresh and light-bodied Special Honjozo sake that beautifully expresses the modern, aromatic style of Gakki Masamune.
The name “Forte Piano” comes from the musical term meaning “strong, then soft” — a fitting expression for the contrast found in this sake. It opens with bright, sweet fruit aromas reminiscent of muscat, pear, and fresh melon, followed by a soft, juicy palate and a clean, refreshing finish.
Brewed with Yume no Ka rice polished to 60%, this low-alcohol style is delicate, lively, and easy to enjoy. The gentle sweetness is balanced by a crisp, tight structure and a subtle bitterness on the finish, making it refreshing on its own and highly versatile with food.
Best enjoyed chilled.
