This Merlot is elegant and supple with black fruits such as blueberry flavors on entry, hints of earthy note and cloves with a touch of well integrated wood, having a long lingering finish. Merlot has been cultivated in the Kikyogahara District of Shiojiri since 1976. And this wine continue to be recognised as one of Japan's best red wines.
