Chita is the pride of Japan and one of the world's finest single-grain whiskies. There is, of course, a reason why it is considered the best whisky. First, the original whisky is made into three types: heavy, medium and clean. It is then individually matured in a variety of casks, including white oak, Spanish oak and seasoned oak, to bring out the character of the grain, which is particularly susceptible to the effects of barrel ageing, and to create a variety of styles. It is Suntory's proud fifth chief blender, Shinji Fukuyo (Yamazaki, Hibiki, etc.), who determines the peak of each maturation, overlaps them and creates the delicate aroma. Of course, the whisky itself is just delicious.
