This is a smooth red, the result of an excellent year. The spring frosts (where 40% of the harvest was lost) almost ruined this wine that is lively on the nose with fruity aromas. On the palate, you can feel the hours of sunshine and the heat of the remaining months, with bloody notes on the palate. There are also rich and velvety tannins. Dense and energetic. Slightly astringent. Fresh finish. Drink chilled would be delish!
